1997 Linc Luthier Guitar (Ebony)
Semi hollow construction of Macassar Ebony and Padouk Maple, Padouk and Ebony all compose the neck. Pink Ivory nut Schaller hardware Lace “prototype” pickups (not sure if they were ever produced en mass) Volume and blend pots This is a really cool guitar. The tone is so warm and mellow you’d think it was a large jazz box. But push the gain and check out all the sweet harmonics that come through the ebony/padouk combination! Very warm and pronounced low end, a bit less bite in the high’s, but a very strong, focused mid range. Another little surprise is the figuring of the lighter toned wood. Very feint, but definitely there! The pickups have been exceptionally clean for recording, but the one thing this guitar had that I’ve never been able to adjust to is a fairly pronounced V neck shape. So, it’s time to let her share her joy with someone else… $1900.00 Includes the “coffin”, and shipping to anywhere in continental US Collectors….start your drooling!

1997 Linc Luthier Guitar (Maple)
Semi hollow body made of Quilted Maple and Koa Neck thu design also maple and koa Pink ivory nut Shaller hardware Lace Holy Grail Pickups Volume and two cascading blend knobs Schaller self contained trem unit This is the prototype three pickup guitar from Linc that I commissioned in ’96. The original body was to be made of quilted spalt maple. However the body imploded and it now resides at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino in Vegas. This is an amazing guitar. Take your strat, beef it up with GGH ( guitar growth hormones) and rewire the thing…then you’ve got something close to this. Any of seven pickup configurations are possible, along with varying the amount of each pickup in that combination. The tone? Maple and Koa. Strong mids, warm lows and percussive highs. This guitar is the guitar Fender and G & L only wish they could build. The guitar comes with one of Linc’s famous “guitar coffins” that are, like his guitars, entirely made by hand! Shipping is also included to anywhere in the continental US. I hate “collecting” guitars, and as I am not using this guitar for anything ATM, I’ve decided to let her go to a new home. $1900.00 Okay guitar collectors, you can take your heart meds now!
